Gmail is the email service I have been using for over 10 years. Many custom domain services incorporate a poorly design interphase that is not visually pleasing to my eyes. There is a very simple way to incorporate your custom domain email into Gmail very smoothly. With a few clicks, you will be using your custom domain email with gmail.
1. In Gmail click setting, click accounts and import, Send Email As: click add another email address.
2. This part will require some digging on your email. Username is domain email address and email password. Press “Add Account.” Go to the domain email confirm Gmail process.
I tinkered around with TLS, SSL, and Port Setting. Go Daddy domain server has particular settings to follow. For my email address, I chose “SSL and Port 465.” My tried different settings, “SLL and port 465” setting had blazing fast results.
3. Domain email have internet setting such as POP/IMAP. Make sure you enable both in Forwarding and POP/IMAP setting.
4. Make domain email default for sending email’s on Gmail. Go to Accounts and Imports, Send Mail As: on desired email make defaults.
